Explain Everything – Pros and Cons

Explain Everything had some positives and negatives. Overall I did not like the app, I felt that it was too limited with the colors and themes you can choose to complete the presentation and you can’t actually present it like a slide show. It has to be presented as a pdf file. The app did have some positives though. You can draw on the presentation as well as record yourself talking in order to explain what is on your presentation. I wouldn’t recommend this app to someone who wants to present to a room full of people, however if it is used for notes or understanding topics between a small group of people it is something I do recommend as it can be used as a learning tool.

Not able to share presentation.

Movie Editing – 2/15/17

Today I completed my commercial for movie editing as well as completed my iMovie that explains what I did throughout the project. This project was pretty basic, but it was also difficult at some points. Deciding what I wanted to do for the project was probably the most difficult part of it, once I knew what I wanted to do it was very easy to complete.

Movie Editing – 2/14/17

For my group 4 project I did Movie Editing. I chose to make a video based on my horseback riding and the services I provide to other horse people around me. So basically I made a commercial, that showed what I do for riding. While making the video I found it pretty easy considering I edit videos frequently on my own time. I really enjoy movie editing.

Group 4 Project

For my Group 4 Project, I would love to do Movie Editing. Movie Editing relates to real world experiences by being able to advertise and show off things in a movie. Personally, I love to be able to learn more about movie editing and showing off skills through a movie.

Arduino Day 3

Today Lauren and I continued working on Arduino, we worked on the “Real World Applications” project. The project revolves around a video game controller. Lauren and I were not able to complete the project in one class as it is more difficult and takes more time than the first project did.

SMART Goal: Arduino

Today in help desk I was partnered with Lauren, we decided that for our group project we are gonna make a simple Arduino based calculator. In order to complete this project we will need a Arduino-based board, an LCD 1602A, 4 by 4 button keypad, jumper wires, a resistor, and a potentiometer. Over the next 2 weeks Lauren and I will be completing this project. I am looking forward to completing this project.

3D Printers

I think that if Nipmuc had 3D printers it would be really cool. We would be able to design cool things and print them out. We would also be able to learn how to use different types of printers and be able to use our abilities in the work force in the future.
